The environment and the cultural heritage of my family's eel fishing cottage has provided me with inspiration for Bräckt. It shows both directly in the aesthetical expression but also in the working methods. Among my method experiments one can find:

- Buried fabric at the shoreline - tears the fabric and gives it stains of rust from the anchor.

- Smoked fabric in a fish smoker - gives the fabric different patterns and shades of brown/black

- Boiled fabric with seaweed in brackish water -
gives white fabric a brown colour.

- Treated fabric with tar - gives a brown/black pattern.

- Draping with sand and stones.

These methods also give the garments a characteristic scent.
